Samsung Not Smart tv & Wireless USB

Hi

Just got a new Samsung F4500 TV, it has freeview etc which is fine. However on tuning it is picking up a signal from my sky+ box (which is not in this room nor connected to the tv) but there is no av/source button to enable me to tune in to it. Ideally I would like to watch my sky programmes on this tv also. I already have a sky eye in the house for another tv.

Second query is about a usb wifi dongle for the tv to enable it to be used with wireless keyboard etc.

Such as the above, is it easy to set up? Also would prefer one that runs/gets power off the tv as the television is wall mounted and I could do without any cables hanging down.

I already have a VAG/Monet wifi bridge will this work on it?

Someone might know :)

Sounds like your picking up the output from the Sky box RF output and your TV is receiving it on its analogue tuner.
So you need to find out how to select it on your Samsung TV.
Or if you don't want it you just need to disable the RF output.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

On my Samsung if you use the programme button and go down to 1 on the freeview tuner then beyond the set selects the analog tuner.

You've got a bit confused with mixing up some technologies...
First question's easier. Turn the Sky box on. Select the ANALOGUE (remember? 1,2,3,4,5, now just snow?) tuner, and in the menu hopefully will be auto tune. This will scan, and hopefully find just one channel, the Sky box.
If you have an ATV/DTV button on your Samsung remote, or an AV button (I don't believe you don't have one) you should be able to get into the analogue tuner.
Secondly, that thing on Amazon isn't a USB WiFi dongle. It's a small Android ( you know, the phone Operating System) computer that plugs into an HDMI port on your TV. Can you access a free HDMI port?
It's really not clear to me which keyboard/mouse you're supposed to use with it. You say you want to control your TV with a keyboard/mouse, but you don't say what you actually want to do. If you want a smart TV, this device may be good, or it may be too slow to keep up with YouTube etc.
It sounds like it may be too technical for you to set up. Add the cost of a keyboard/mouse too.

If the RF output hasn't been reset in the past to overcome interference it used to be factory set to channel 69 right at the top of the analogue spectrum. ( Analogue covered covered channels 21-69 )
