Hello guys
EA called me on Saturday, said don’t get too excited but someone’s offered xxx on your property, he said, he knows it wasn’t enough but felt there was a deal to be made, i told him our figure where we would accept, then he went down the road of saying that the proposed buyer would go back to their `offerer` to get them to up, so they could attempt to getting to what we want
So, when is an offer, not an offer? I’ll tell you, it’s when our bleeding EA tells us of one!!!
The reason i say that, as added to the above, a few weeks ago i range them for an update, he said so and so would have offered in the region of xxx but i told them it was too low, so i said to the EA at that time, tell them they aren’t a million miles away and there may be a compromise to reach, he said he would, lo and behold we never heard another thing
I have just sent him a rather curt email asking for an update, and an accurate one at that
This is all starting to get on our nerves, we feel when our contract runs out in a couple of weeks we`ll seriously consider house network or something, all these smoke and mirrors and EA`s acting as big deal breakers is starting to irritate!!

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Was this 'don't get too excited' offer after a viewing or is this just their tactics to keep you with them?!0

Yeah, it`s after a viewer who had been a wek or so previous and had done some measuring up....i havent got any choice but to stay with them , the contract is 12 weeks , i do really like the guys in the office but i just cant stand the industry i think , i dont want to be part of it , i havent the patienceNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

I hate EA with a passion. Most of them have no morals/scruples/feelings when it comes to real people! I'll be glad when I get my new keys and hopefully never deal with one again!0

Update , he says things are very positive but as its a company buying the property of the people that like ours all details must be chekced and all tied up that side of the chain before a deal is attempted our side
he says hold tight
i need a drinkNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
I've never had a problem with EAs, it's the conveyancers who have given me all the grief...0

Fingers crossed for you!0

yep...i know thats the next obstacle , but i hope to have chosen decent ones , already set upNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

Good luck with it. It's not as if that is the end either when you have an offer, you then have the possibility of them pulling out at the last minute......I'm sure there is a better system than we have at the moment, it is just too stressful.0
