apeal against decission

My wife was informed by the FSCS that she was not entitled to a claim for mis sold PPI as she had signed the contract for this after being told by the GO CAR salesman all about it. The key factor they seem to have missed is, my wife explained that she was told by the salesman that if she did not sign for PPI then she could not go through with the loan application. The FSCS had this information in their pack they sent through for my wife to complete. Is it worth appealing against their decission

If you are using the FSCS this sounds like the company who originally sold it ias no longer trading.
If they are no longer trading, your wife would have had to have been sold the PPI after January 2005 for the FSCS to consider it. Was it sold after this?

Provide your evidence of this to the FSCS. If you have no evidence then its an unprovable allegation that you would expect to get rejected.
