This mightn't help with big companies, but with sellers on eBay who get all worried about sending things to 'Ireland' you can educate them that ParcelForce/Post Office charge nationally (and NI is part of UK of course), so it will cost the same to get stuff to us.

Just seen Groupon have revamped (for lack of better word!) their 'Getaways' section. Was able to select 'Departs from: Belfast', thought :j when it brought up a list of holidays. But of all the deals that included flights, there was only 1 within driving distance, and that was going from Dublin.
Back to the drawing board...
