Cannot load attachments to emails?

Hi all

I have been trying to send an email with an attachment since yesterday but the attachment won't load. I have tried with a yahoo email address and a Hotmail email address and have tried different documents but it will not work.

With the yahoo email, it just states "loading attachment" but despite waiting ages, it will not load. With the Hotmail email address, as soon as I click on the document to load, the icon comes up on the email and then it says "internet explorer has stopped working"??

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening, it was working fine the day before yesterday?

EDIT: I have just managed to send it using Firefox. Does anyone know why it would not send using IE as I use this as my default. TIA
