Can you buy the wheels only to put a brief case on to create a trolly briefcase?
I have a Bramble & Brown briefcase & I want to continue to use it, but its heavy.
Does anyone know of purpose made wheels for briefcases?
I've googled & can't find any:(

Thanks but its a briefcase, so I need the trolly frame, with the handle.0 -
How about taking it to a cobblers? The ones that sell shopping trolleys and luggage and all sorts. They might be able to fashion you some attractive wheels."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

You can. I think I have one in the garage ... However, I'm not sure how easy it would be to secure the briefcase to the frame, it comes with an elastic hooked cord, but not sure how well that would hold. Also I think you'd end up scratching the briefcase.
Would it fit in a Funky Trundle? Or a Smart Cart?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
by the sounds of it you want a trolley/ cart to put the case onto, so something like http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meridian-Zero-01015-Economy-Folding/dp/B000PLY86G/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1369927789&sr=8-12&keywords=folding+cart0

Nooooo, don't get one of those, you NEED something with the rigid frame. Those bags which just have wheels at the bottom are AWFUL, I used to have one of them as well, you're dragging the whole weight of the bag round at arms length with them.PasturesNew wrote: »There are things like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MULTI-BAG-FOLDING-WHEEL-TROLLEY-BAG-SHOPPING-TRAVELLING-CARRYING-ETC-/130887602596
As I see it you'd drop your briefcase in (if it fits) as/when you need to drag it about.
Or, http://www.abilitysuperstore.com/index.php/out-and-about/shopping-trolleys/-/foldable-shopping-bag-with-retractable-wheels/18041
Far better to get a proper granny trolley if you want to drop the briefcase in, but I wonder if the OP wants something more professional looking.
In which case, sadly, the best thing is a new briefcase on wheels, you can get them, definitely.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I gave my wife one of those "Mrs. Brady Old Lady" trolleys to my wife for a joke.
It backfired because she actually uses it. I pretend I'm not with her.0 -

Or another one from amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Design-Go-932-Design-Go-Trolley/dp/B000O0YHWI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1369992140&sr=8-3&keywords=folding+luggage+cart
There are plenty of options to chose from, without it being made for purpose then either you'll need to buy one like it or accept it isnt going to look as good0 -
That last one is closer to what I have in my garage: folds down when not in use, elastic straps to hold the bag on. But that one is nicer because black: mine is metal and a bit rusty ...InsideInsurance wrote: »Or another one from amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Design-Go-932-Design-Go-Trolley/dp/B000O0YHWI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1369992140&sr=8-3&keywords=folding+luggage+cart

I'd wander into a few luggage shops and ask what's available: I can't see whether the latest one would hold the briefcase very securely.Signature removed for peace of mind0
