Sntander 123 CC cash back question

Does anyone know when and how you receieve the cash back. Is it paid monthly and which acc is it paid into?

I was told that it gets taken off the balance of the statement itself. So when the direct debit comes out from the desginated DD bank account it is less the cashback earnt, and its calculated monthly.
