Shower enclosure Brands

Hi all,
Which shower enclosure brands are good?

i am looking for a 1200x900 offset quadrant shower - pref single door. The brands that do this size are

Twyford
Roman
Hydrolux (very cheap)
April
Corum

If you used any of the above brands, your advise will be very valuable...

Thank you.

I have a Roman quad installed last year. I had some issues regarding the quality of the fittings. Roman have been excellent with customer support and sent out a fitter to rectify everything. The fitter said the back up/support would last for as long as I owned the shower enclosure.

I chose Roman because it was UK made. I looked at a shower enclosure at the recent Homebuilding Show at the NEC - this was made in the UK by a competitor to Roman. I do not recall the manufacturers name but I was impressed with the quality and value. Can any mse users enlighten me, or OP, on this name?

There are many more than that available via the net. And there are many more that are unbranded

What you need to check is which if any of your specified brands are actually uk made as I'm thinking you are concerned about pedigree?
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

I am concerned about the quality and durability. not necessarily looking at the cheapest - but something that is less likely to give me problems. even if it does, Im looking for good customer support.

Thanks Furts. I will consider Roman.

The only problem is, we seem to have moved into the throwaway society, no, I don't subscribe to it wholeheartedly, but if it means a cheaper shower or screen, then yeah, I'll give it a try, ;););););)

  • I had a 1200x900 offset quadrant shower Roman shower and tray - not cheap, but well worth the money. Solidly made and well engineered. Certainly recommended.
