Where shall I sell these chairs?

I am due to downsize soon and have two of these chairs.

Where is the best place to sell them? Anyone have any idea on price?

Many thanks!

Yes image showing now. You could try eBay and collection only or put up a card on a local board. Price? really dependant on what you feel is a fair price. If you just want rid what about a charity or Hospice Shop (donate them for a worthy cause).

You could try a bricks and mortar auction house, I saw a pair similar to those go before Christmas for around the £50 mark- which equates to about £30 after fees.

I was also going to suggest a local auction house, the drawback being that you are likely to be required to drop them off there yourself during working hours. I'm lucky living only a few miles away from two auction houses, one very much house clearance, the other a little more upmarket. Not everyone is so fortunate and you'll have the associated petrol costs.

I've found to my cost that those type of chairs on ebay do not attract much interest. Although depends on whether your prime aim is to clear space or make money

If you're on FB the fb selling pages might be good. £40 for both and use the words project and shabby chic....

    card in newsagents window
    card in local supermarket
ad in local free ads e.g. adtrader or whatever is local to you.

failing that...freecycle (no money but at least they're gone)

You could put a sign on saying, "Take a chair!"
