Hello Muser:wave:and welcome.
I do swagbucks on and off as i don`t seem to get many surveys on it at the moment, so this is when I feel like it. I`ve also done other survey sites in the pass (a few years back), but gave up after a while on these as nothing really came of these.
I`ve been trying to get into the job market and did have some success a few weeks back, but due to minor health reasons the owner had to let me go. Wasn`t fair on either of us to keep me on.
I`ve been kept busy with school appeals for one of my DS these last few months, a very long and stressful time and wouldn`t wish it on my worst enermy but now these are almost at the end yeah.

Evening Savvymummy, sounds like you've had a good day. Well done on the £ a day. I was really up for that challenge but only £1 in my pot so far...oops, a lot of room for improvement there:rotfl:

Keep up the good work.

Yes I'm trying to do that too, it really has helped to keep my mind focused. I'm quite enjoying writing everything down too, I've never kept a diary before and i think it's helping to keep my thoughts in order.

• Good luck!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
• Quick update for today.
Did most of my weekly shop at MrT this morning and used both the £5 coupon given to me last week along with the £1.07 price promise voucher, so a total of £6.07:D is winging its way to my ISA/mortgage pot and also popped my daily £1 into the £1+ a day mortgage challenge pot.

Good afternoon all:hello:
Daily update so far, i`ve started listing some things on Eb@y, so will keep an eye on this and see what happens.
one of the kids took packed lunch again, so a saving of £2 goes into the monthly pot and i`ve added another £1 to the £1+ a day mortgage pot.
A NSD today on the grocery front yeah:j:j:j, but will have to try and tighten the purse strings on this and it`s moving quickly to my monthly budget.

Good morning all:hello:
An update so far. The money I saved by doubling up on clubcard vouchers (£50) has now gone into the emergency fund (ISA), which i`ve updated in the siggy. Any other money from this month will go towards the mortgage overpayment, which includes the £1 a day pot.
I`m hoping the grocery purse will be less this week as one of the kids is away, so this should (fingers crossed), see a bit of a difference to the food money. £2, has already gone in today, saved by taking packed lunch instead of buying in the canteen. I`m not too sure how much this month i`ve saved so far, as everything`s popped into my jar and then counted up at the end of the month, but it`s looking o.k I think.

I did a very small (£1) transfer to the mortgage account last week, just to make sure that there were no problems, doing it this way and this went through o.k.

Just a quick update, to keep me motivated. I`ve cheated a little and made up the £1+ a day challenge for this month, so that`s £30. I`ve added all the other bits and pieces that i`ve managed to save so far this month, this comes to a total of just under £100:j, so i`ve rounded this up i`ve now transfered this £100 into the mortgage overpayment.

Very happy with both this and the emergency fund i`ve saved into, this month alone. Just with bits and pieces here and there, it`s surprising what I can actually save.

I`m also waiting to see what my items on e@bay will bring in as well.

Good morning all,
Just an end of month update to help me keep motivated.
Very happy so far with what i`ve achieved for june, £60 for emergency funds and £326 for overpayments.

For july i`m going to challenge myself to save £100 towards the emergency funds and £350 for mortgage overpayments. It could be a bit of a challenge, as i`ve a few outgoings for the next couple of months. with new unifroms, school travel, car service/MOT and holiday spends, but hoping it`s not going to be all bad.

I`ve a pot for most things and try to put something away in most of these each month, so it`s not such a strain on the money, when the bill arrives. But these are just estimates, so the bill could come over or under, what i`ve saved. Aiways of course hoping the bill is under:D.

So for july my challenge wil be:
Emergency fund £100
Mortgage overpayment £350.
