Bad credit advice

Hi all
I hope you can help I have two questions...
Here is a brief history... I went
Bankrupt about 5 years ago. I have
Built back a little credit and now have my own bank account
And insurance paid monthly etc but my credit rating is very
Bad obviously. I pay equifax £6 per month and have written
To a few of my old creditors to correct their
Records as some of them did not have the debt as settled by the bankruptcy.
1.) one debtor has not updated it and
Says that they cannot find any file. I stupidly do not have an account number but have given them any possible address I could have lived at during the time, my date of birth etc and they said they can't
Find an account so I have asked them to remove the debt details. They have said they can't find any so I have
Cut and pasted the details from equifax to them saying I have an outstanding debt with them and sent details of my bankruptcy etc and
No luck- I have been battling with this for a few years- is there anything I can do?

2.) my other half and are moving impulse and have seperate
Bank accounts
But to make things easier want one seperate account for bills. I don't want a joint account as I do not want us
To be 'connected' financially. He is happy to have the account in his name and to have all direct
Debits leaving it and we both transfer the appropriate money to that. I am worried though as I don't want his
Credit to Be affected by mine- if for instance the bt account is in my name and the direct debit comes out of his bank will that link us on paper/credit searches etc and will it leave any sort of mark on his credit?
Thanks in advance everyone. Sorry about the mega message. I was very foolish with money early on and am paying for it nowt (not that I
Begrudge it, it is my doing) but I'm a bit stuck , so any advice would be great

Regarding your credit file and bankruptcy debts - try having a look here - Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy

You will not become financially associated on your credit files just by you paying a bill that is in his name (or vice versa). Just don't have a joint bank account (or loans or mortgage) and don't have the utility bills etc in joint names.

Thank you so much, I will have a look at that. I will probably have utility bills in my name so it helps my credit and have them
Coming out of his account I think
