Windows Version Help Please

[STRIKE]I have just been given a laptop which was full of viruses/spyware and I decided to do a clean install of Windows. I read as long as I have a key I can borrow a Windows disk from a friend.
The computer said on the screen it was Windows Vista Business 32bit. I borrowed the Vista Business disk, did a fresh install and when I went to put the key in, it said it wasn't the right one for the version of windows.
Unfortunately on the sticker underneath I cant read what version of windows it is, only the key is visible. Is there any way online I could type in the key and find out which version of windows it belongs to[/STRIKE]
Ive sorted it now, its has sucessfully activated I must of typed the wrong key in first time round

With the proviso that all Key Finder programs may give the (unusable) manufacturer's generic install key, not the one on the holographic sticker. Dell and HP are just two manufacturers where this happens.Next time, use this if you can't read the sticker:
