[STRIKE]I have just been given a laptop which was full of viruses/spyware and I decided to do a clean install of Windows. I read as long as I have a key I can borrow a Windows disk from a friend.

The computer said on the screen it was Windows Vista Business 32bit. I borrowed the Vista Business disk, did a fresh install and when I went to put the key in, it said it wasn't the right one for the version of windows.

Unfortunately on the sticker underneath I cant read what version of windows it is, only the key is visible. Is there any way online I could type in the key and find out which version of windows it belongs to[/STRIKE]

Ive sorted it now, its has sucessfully activated I must of typed the wrong key in first time round :o
