That said I have a collywobble going on because my two equity income funds have taken a beating since Thursday. Down, down, up and down they have gone.

It's high risk putting your money into single shares. That said, I buy shares in Grid each month though my SIP straight out of gross pay and is the only single share I own.
Looking on the bright side I should get a few more in June following the recent price drop.0 -

And sometimes his company buys the whole lot if he really likes it!
