Problems obtaining credit file

I've been trying to access my credit files online. I've tried the usual 3 (Experian, Callcredit and Equifax) as well as Noddle and all are asking me to send additional ID before they will grant me access to any reports.
The problem I have is they need either a utility bill or a bank statment with my current address. I've had to temporarily move in with family as I'm between properties, so don't have a utility bill in my name. And my bank account is held on line so I don't receive postal statements and don't have access to a printer.
I'm getting nowhere fast in trying to resolve this with the CRA's and I'm getting desperate as I need to start applying for mortgages so I can get back into a place of my own.
Can anyone give me any advice at all on what I can do next?

I would guess if you don't have anything with your current address, you may run in to problems when applying for a mortgage anyway.
Apply for the £2 statutory report and see if you get anywhere with that. It's not a fancy but has all the information you need and best of all (as you've no printer) being a paper copy, you can give it straight to a broker.0 -
thanks for your reply neil.
I've tried applying for the £2 reports and I just get the same problem. They need the paper ID to issue that as well.
I do have a credit card and mobile phone registered to my current address, but everything is billed electronically, so no paper billing.0 -
Does your online bank statement not show your current address?
If so can you print that off and then send to them? If you don't have access to a printer at home could you not save the statement to a usb stick and then print it out in a library/internet cafe/friend's house or similar?
Or can you switch to postal billing and wait for your next bill and then send that to them?
Are you registered as being on the electoral roll at your current address?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Credit card and mobile phone company should provide you with a paper bill if you need them. They might charge you, as everyone does in this life these days!0 -
I'm having the same problem with Equifax and CallCredit *Argh*
I think my Experian has gone through ok... So I am just going to wait on that one and see what it says then try for the others when I have a bit more time to think about it.0
