Additional credit cards

Many (if not all) card issuers offer additional cards for family members - ie two cards for two people but on the same credit card account.
Is it possible to get an additional card in the same name as the main one? The reason I ask is that I have two wallets (a work and home one) that contain different sets of 'stuff' but I could do with having my credit card in both.
Is this an unusual request!?

Could you perhaps get one for "Joe Bloggs" and one for "J. Bloggs"?Many (if not all) card issuers offer additional cards for family members - ie two cards for two people but on the same credit card account.

Hmm, I've not heard of it, however Barclaycard are happy to issue a card and paytag on the same account to the same person, so maybe. If your CC account allows you to add a cardholder online, give it a try, the worst they can do is say no.0 -
If they say no you could always apply for a separate card from someone else.0
