Payment Care the same as PPI?

Hi,

I have a quick question as the title says... is payment care the same as ppi? Black Horse has turned down my PPI refund application stating that i did not have ppi on my agreement but i have just managed to find one of the statements (i lost most through flooding) and it shows that payment care was coming off each month and i am a little confused as to what payment care is as i did not agree to that either.

I have some very similar - Sainsbury's Bank CreditCare Gold, which I would too like to know if this was similar to PPI and if I could make a complaint in regards to it - since I don't feel that I could say no, when purchasing it (pre-opted in).

These are PPI, they are gold, silver and bronze, if you were mis sold then make the claims.

Natalie, if you have reasons for mis sell then make the claim, send copies of the statements that show this cover being taken out, if this is not PPI then ask them what it was.

Thanks for the reply. I went back on the Black Horse web site last night and it even says on it that payment care is a form of PPI (I know i should have looked there first!). I'll send off copies of the statement. Thanks
