Hi
I just had a question, I am in process of buying a house. We should be proceeding towards exchange soon but wanted to know,
I need to pay 10% on contract exchange and remaining 10% on completion.
Now after this I have to pay SDLT and solicitor fees.
Can I pay these two things by credit card or do I have to pay them to the solicitor as two payments one of 10% and the other 10% + SDLT + Fees
Ideally I would like to pay by cc as then I have to clear that in a month and would have the salary to cover that expense.
Would appreciate if someone could please advise.

You have to put the solicitor in funds to complete, plus SDLT and fees, before proceeding to completion.
Very few solicitors take CC payments but you could ask them.0
