in Credit cards
I have recently returned of holiday from Poland, while I was in a nightclub my card was cloned and maxed out to roughly £6000. The bank is not believing me as they used my pin, I don't know how they got my pin number as I wasn't negligent. I have been to citizens advice and they are looking into it but the guy didn't seem very knowledgeable on the subject. PLEASE HELP AS THIS IS REALLY STARTING TO AFFECT ME.

If your card was used in a Chip and Pin machine it cannot be a clone, as a cloned card wont be able to be used in a chip and pin machine.0

How did they manage to use my card as I still have it so it wasn't stolen.0

You can ask for copies of the bills from the nightclub to show how the costs mounted up. Then try to work out what has happened from there.
If it was a chip and pin transaction then you probably authorised it. Sorry to ask, but how drunk were you? Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Did you check the amounts that you were authorising when you entered the PIN?
Also, how many "fraudulent" transactions were there?
And finally out of interest (I'm sure everyone else wants to know as well) did the "nightclub" offer certain private function?0 -
If it wasn't chip&pin transactions, that seems to be very likely in Poland, it really could have been a cloned card and IMO the bank doesn't have a leg to stand on.0

I wasn't drunk and I only used the card once (yes it was a strip club) but I didn't pay for anything, I have looked at trip advisor and it seems to be very common there I would post the link but its not letting me.
I defiantly did not enter the pin myself our authorise these fraudulent transactions.0 -

Did you enter your PIN at any time and how many transactions have been processed?0 -
