Appointing a solicitor

My house sold! :T

I have sold a house before, YEARS ago. As that was in our home town, we had a solicitor.

How do I go about getting a solicitor?

I have got some quotes.

Do I just call up one of them & say "please deal with my house sale/purchase"

    Yep pretty much. Just call them or email them saying you wish to use them on your house purchase. Do be careful though that the quotes have everything they are going to charge. As I have read on here that you should check certain things are on the quote, someone much more knowledgeable than me will be along to say what those things are.
