AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Totally ignored since returning costume. As soon as i mentioned trading standards i had an email returned but have heard nothing since. I have filed a consumer complaint. They do not have a contactable telephone number.

Oh no, I am at the moment trying to get a response about my "refundable" £50 deposit. After reading this thread I'm not holding my breath about getting this back.
I have started a paypal dispute so fingers crossed. I have had approx. 3 emails from them since my order. I will not be using these again!!0 -
WARNING do NOT to use this corrupt company for hiring any costumes/bouncy castles etc. The website has no company number, the owner David Spellward has hosted other domains in the past ‘cozy costumes’ – probably looks after a host of corrupt websites - how do these people not get caught? Why has this website not been shut down? David’s partners in crime include Fiona Staples and Gemma who conceals the company address, ignores emails, gives incorrect mobile number and do not expect your deposit back – ha!! Don’t be fooled by the address of ‘ABC Mascot Unit 7-8’ – this is not a shop or industrial estate building but an old dilapidated ‘shed’ next to Marwin Cars – street view this SE18 7SP …situated in an over grown backyard of ugly Plumstead, this shed holding the dirty over-warn costumes! However it is apparent that their actual address is around the corner which is 22 Vicarage Park, Plumstead, SE18 7SX. I didn’t get my deposit back and will be lodging consumer complaint and speaking to trading standard next!0

Hi, I've just seen your post about abc mascots and not receiving your deposit back, I am unfortunately in the same position and they are not responding to any emails and the phone number does not go through. I have no idea what to do and haven't been in a position like this before, would you advise for me to do the same and make a consumer complaint and speak to trading standard? Many thanks, Amy0
