It's a personal preference. I was happier with DS lying flat for a long journey. Plus, by the time we made the journey, DS was sleeping for 5 hours at a time at night so we drove up then with the minimum of fuss.
A lie flat seat worked for us, but I'm not sure it's a worthwhile investment for someone who already has a car seat and especially if they're only making local journeys.You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -
I found the Maxi Cosi Pebble quite flat, I know there are flatter like the Jane, but that was the best reasonable price one I found. We used to stop after an hour or hour and a half, and just lift him out for a bit. I hate seeing those cheaper seats that are very upright, they worry me.0
