Sky Remote on SKY+

Hi, Ive got a SKY+ with the Sky+ remote.

However I have got a Standard Sky remote which doesnt work on the SKY+ box.

Anyone know how I can get a standard SKY remote to work on SKY+ box please.

I really would like to use that so the kids cant cancel any recordings I set with the SKY+ remote.

The SKY+ box is a PVR2 PACE 3100

Ive tried taking the batteries out and leaving it and then trying but it still does not control the SKY+ box. TV Volume and channels work.

The long and short is I don't think it will work. I bought a Skyplus Navigator for, well free, but for the cost of the phone call. There was a thread....

Following on from THIS thread the Sky Navigator remote control is back on offer. Although not free anymore it's still only £1.50 (Cost of the call) which is a good price for an extra remote which can also control SKY+



Found the instructions but I am not sure if the offer is on at the moment. They normally have it on for a month or so then take it off for a bit and add it on again after a while.

Details:

Make sure you telephone line is plugged into your skybox

1. Press "Interactive".
2. Press 5 for "Sky Customer Service".
3. Press Green for "A-Z".
4. Press 4 for "G-I".
5. Select "Info & Service".
6. Press 2 for "Get Sky Navigator", then follow the intructions.

DAMNOME

1) Press TV button
2) Hold down select and yellow together until LED blinks twice.
3) Press 1
4) Press select

N.B. To revert to a SKY remote press 0 in step 3
