I would agree with james, for emerging markets it is possible to find funds that consistently beat the indices. Unlike something like the FTSE100 index, Emerging Markets is a very broad spectrum and even if a fund manager can choose which country within it will do better, then they will beat the index comfortably.
I am invested in Aberdeen Emerging Markets fund, but they have a 2% intial charge now. There are others around though.Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.0
