    They have to refer it.

    This simply means that you won't get instant decisions. It won't negatively impact your ability to get credit.

    As said - set up a DD for the minimum payment every month and it will stop this happening!

    Good that Halifax actually had someone who can see that this is an isolated incident and is in a position to actually do something about it.
