1. The promoter of the £500 shopping spree prize draw is Matalan Retail Limited ("Matalan"), whose registered office is located at Gillibrands Road, Skelmersdale, West Lancashire WN8 9TB. Entries may be submitted between 22nd May 2007 and the closing date 31st July 2007 inclusive. Entries outside these dates will not be accepted.
2. Entry is open to all UK residents who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, except Matalan employees and their immediate families who are prohibited from entry.
3. Entry is free of charge and there is no obligation for entrants to either hold Matalan cards or purchase goods in order to enter.
4. Entry to the prize draw is made by entrants completing the email newsletter registration form via the Matalan website located at www.matalan.co.uk.
5. Only one entry per person is permitted and entrants have the chance to win £500 worth of vouchers to be redeemed in a Matalan store. The vouchers are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
6. Matalan reserves the right to cancel or amend this prize draw or these terms and conditions for reasons that are outside its control or where it is reasonably necessary to do so.
7. The winner will be drawn at random by Matalan and will be informed by email on or before 14th August 2007 at 17.00 hrs.
8. Notwithstanding the declaration of a winner, if Matalan discovers that for any reason under these terms and conditions any participant (including the prize winner) was ineligible to enter or the entry should have been declared invalid, then Matalan reserves the right to disqualify such participant and withhold any prize from that participant if applicable.
9. Matalan's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. The winner's name will be published at www.matalan.co.uk on 14th August 2007 for one week only.
11. The winner authorises Matalan to publish their name when announcing the winner of the draw and acknowledges that they may be asked to participate in further publicity connected with this prize draw.
12. This prize draw is governed by the laws of England and in the event of any dispute the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
13. Prize draw not open to Matalan employees
