Quote cheaper through comparison site

I like to shop around quite a lot with my car insurance. Normally I use a comparison site to choose then buy direct with cashback. This year was no different.
However, the quote I am getting through confused.com is significantly cheaper than I can replicate on insurers own website or on another comparison site. It is significantly cheaper (£270 instead of £380 elsewhere) and I am concerned as to why this would be.
Obviously this saving trumps any cashback but I am concerned as to how to check there hasn't been some problem with the quote and that all details have been passed over correctly. I definitely filled it in properly.
What could happen to my insurance if this quote turns out to be some kind of mistake after I purchase?

Hi, because different insurers ask questions in different ways etc. ,the generalised questions asked by comparison sites don't always match up.
This is why I usually use comparison sites to give an idea who is tending to be cheaper and then, as you have previously done, go direct to the insurers website.
I have personal experience of the possible errors that can occur when I have bought insurance for my son and daughter , every thing seems to be ok then when you receive the policy documents there are minor errors, which means ringing up to have them corrected.0
