Land Registry Searches - delay?

Afternoon all

Some advice please, our solicitor sent the searches 30/04/2013. Now, I understand there were two bank holidays in that period but she is insistant she still has not had them back yet - is this sort of timescale normal?

Are you sure it is a Land Registry search? House buying also usually involves other searches such as local authority searches, could this be what your solicitor is waiting for?

Once we receive a Land Registration search application, which is usually sent after you have exchanged contracts, then it should only take 2 to 3 days for us to send the result back to your solicitor. If they haven’t received the result then ask them to chase it up with us.
