Anyone Recommend Insurer for Home Workshop?

Hello
My OH has a small workshop in our property and our existing buildings insurer has changed their underwriter this year and they now only include home offices and not workshops.
We've tried the National Farmers Union insurance but they want us to visit an office and we are half a day's travel away from them and would rather go online. Don't want to waste a day's work travelling to them only to find they won't cover us or would charge more than we could afford.
Also tried Direct Line's Home Business Insurance but they won't cover our building as it's a timber framed construction.
Are there any firms we could try? The insurance runs out next week
Hoping to hear from someone who's in the same boat and knows what to do, rather than bored posters just amusing themselves. Thanks.

Presumably this is a commercial workshop and not just for a hobby?
Wouldn't recommend them but a chat with Towergate may get you somewhere as they do both commercial and non-standard construction so could be worth a chat0 -
Have you called up an insurance brokers?
We do a bit of non-standard insurance through a brokerage and theyre always pretty helpful.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
