Hello everyone!
I accepted an offer on my flat after the first viewing at the beginning of this week ..... now have just had a call from the EA to ask if the lady buying it can come and have another look at it.
I am now worried that she is going to pull out - is a second viewing the norm, or am i right to expect the worst?

Could be a couple of things. But, because you accepted her offer straight away (presumably under what you marketed it for) she may be thinking that she could get you to go lower.
Or it could be something as harmless as she has just had an offer accepted, which is a big financial commitment, and she's just excited and wants another look. I know I'd want a couple of looks around!!I can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.

The offer was less but we met half way on the price, so both happy. Her flat is nearing the end of the sale process.
I guess that she may be excited - even though she currently lives in the block of flats almost directly opposite mine and could probably get her binocuars out!!
I will look on the bright side . . . thanks0 -
hopefully it's nothing to worry about - our buyer came back for a second viewing and we were really nervous but when she turned up she wanted to measure up and she said the house was a lot lovelier than she had remembered..we had a good old chat and talked about what fixtures/fittings we were leaving etc etc...so in fact it proved really useful...(although we did have a big glass of wine and heaved a big sigh of relief afterwards...far too stressful all this house moving malarky !!)
Anyway..keep optimistic - keep us posted on what happens

We went back for a second viewing on our house as you look at things differently when you know it's going to be yours. It also gave us a chance to talk to our seller and ask her little questions we'd forgotten like is the driveway included in sale (is at the side of the property) and what her bills were roughly each month.0

Agree with Donnaalana, we went back a week after our offer was accepted for a second viewing to ask more in depth questions. Shouldn't be anything to worry about.Quit smoking 12th July 07 :j0

I wouldn`t spend several years salary without a second look - pref with a friend to look the place over as well.0

A second viewing is completely understandable - I don't think it is significant - in fact I'd be more concerned if she didn't have another look I'd feel she wasn't engaging in the process.0

Thank you for all your replies.
I have just called the EA to say that I am more than happy for them to give the purchaser my telephone number as I will be able to answer any questions that she may have regarding the maintenance fee, etc.0 -
Most people view two or more times before putting in an offer. On my last sale they viewed twice and offered, and then came back two further times to show parents (they were quite young) and measure where furniture etc would go.
Fine by me - I just left a key with the agent and made him take them around when I was out0 -
When we bought the property we are in now we went back at least 4 times between having offer accepted and exchanging contracts. I wouldn't worry about it at all.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
