Ebay trading assistant - has anybody done this before?

Hi there
I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience of being an Ebay trading assistant (http://pages.ebay.co.uk/tradingassistants/hire-trading-assistant.html if you are unsure what I'm talking about!) or hiring one. I've been trading on Ebay for years, mainly clothes etc, and have sold many things for family and friends too and made them a great profit. I'm just wanting to hear from any of you that have offered your services - how regular is your work? I'm thinking of doing this and promoting it locally, but I'm very new to it as I only heard about it yesterday.
Thank you

I tried for a while, ended up with lots of spam messages from Hong Kong sellers, so deleted my account.
I think it works best for people in niche markets who know what they are doing/selling. To make a decent profit from it, the person you are selling for would be getting back 60% or less of the selling price..0 -
You might want to try asking on the business board on the community boards on ebay as well. Just make sure you let them know you understand that you will need to be registered for tax and NI as otherwise they will badger you a lot.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
