Basically, o2 Tried to screw me for data used in 2009-2010 I fought it as it was part of my package (i cannot remember the whole case)
Boiled down, they asked me for money I refused, so they cut me off, which I was happy with because I wasn't being bullied into paying -I challenged it, won and didn't owe it. they then re connected me - They however because it took so long to challenge put a default and late payments thing on my Credit rating.
I have wrote, Emailed and made phone calls to them, they have last week told me they wont be taking it off - you cannot speak to credit rating o2 People you have to email which I have done over and Over. They have no said they cannot deal with my query and to speak with their debt line...there is no debt never been debt. I've been loyal customer for 7 years!!!
Any Advise to clear my name.
Cheers

My advice depends on whether you have written evidence that the account was closed/cleared without debt/default. If you do, write to them again outlining what you wish them to do and that your next step would be the ombudsman if they do not respond to your satisfaction. Keep a copy of this for if you then need to contact the ombudsman.0 -
I don't have the letter anymore, but I did get something wwhich they should have a copy of. I never owed it, they struggle to see it as they just wrote it of their end I never owed it. So there isn't much info on it. I will go along with your advise though.0
