HSBC Secure Key asking for replacement

Dear All
I will need two HSBC secure keys, so I will be able to access my current account from Home and Office. People could probably share opinions / experience
1. Could I ask a second secure key without the need to pay ?
What happen to people who have their secure key damage and ask for replacement.
2. Do they need to pay for this replacement ?
3. Do they ask you to send it back to them ?
Thank you for your time

I would have thought asking them is the only way to get a definitive answer. They may say yes, or they may say that it's a small device and you can carry it with you between home and work. Lying to them doesn't seem like a very good option.0

I am almost certain that there can only be one active secure key per account. I must admit that the secure key is a pain, I would not mind so much if HSBC offered a top notch mobile banking app like Barclays do. Barclays even have PIN sentry on their mobile app which is brilliant.
If you lose your secure key you can walk into any branch and ask for a replacement. When you register your new key the old one is rendered useless. Secure keys are account specific and therefore cannot be shared. I have an account with Barclays and am oh so close to transferring my main banking to them.Money is a wise mans religion0 -
You can't have more than one key per account.
Each key has its own unique serial number. Which helps generate the secure code.
Nothing wrong with carrying one around. Mine sits in my wallet and lasted over 3 years of being sat on.
When you request a new card (its free, but you can give it back if you want for recycling).
You then have to enter the serial number into your account.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0
