BoosHaus. No my seller is GTR.
I have only sent him 2 emails and both replies were the same, telling me to try another company to get the secreen repaired at my cost.
My problem is if i send it back to GTR at my cost and he says the screen was broke by me and wont repair/replace he has my tablet and then i will have to pay him to send it back to me so i will be more money out of pocket.
I still dont know if i start a complaint with Amazon whether that would help or hinder me.

You have a chicken and egg situation here. Seller will claim you broke screen whilst you argue that it is due to overheating whilst charging.

You have to decide whether this is worth the fight and then take it to be professionally appraised and get a report stating that it is due to overheating.

You will then be able to reclaim the costs of this report along with repair/replacement/refund.

If I were in your position I would be giving him one last chance to sort it out before you get a report and then reserve the right to take legal action. Also threaten to leave bad feedback on Amazon (assuming you haven't left any yet) for him and also for the product.

If you have no joy then you have to decide whether it is worth continuing the fight.

I bought a cheap tablet from amazon and cot cover for it from square trade. After 14 months it broke and they couldn't fix it so refunded me. I bought a kindle fire now instead. Hope you manage to sort it out.
