Hi,
Nero 7 did have issues with Vista out of the box, but the software maker does produce regular updates online to fix issues.
If you go to the makers site http://www.nero.com/enu/index.html and click on the Free update button you can download Nero 7 Ultra build 7.9.6.0 and install this instead (use your existing licence code) as it works with Vista. Its a hefty download at about 171 meg and doesn't have the help files as part of the download (they have to be downloaded seperately).
Alt some computer magazines have this on their cover DVDs from time to time as a demo (30 day limited version) you may be able to use one of these and enter your licence code to make it permanent (though I haven't tried that)
I've been using it with Vista (using the update file off the website) for a couple of months without problems now.
Note you have to allow Nero to access the interenet via any software firewalls you may have to use certain functions e.g. updates and possibly licence authentication etc
Hope this helps0 -
Everything from Nero 7.8.5.0 is compatible with Vista. I'm guessing that you have the Essentials licence...or do you have the full(ridiculously bloated) program?0
