Hello,
We live in a hard water for few years now and lately my wife is complaining about hair loss. I'm thinking it may be due to hard water...we tried shower head which claims to help but no luck..
I have heard about,
Little Plumber(http://www.littleplumber.com/)
Scaleguard (Thames water is recommending them - http://www.scaleguard.co.uk/)
but was wondering if anyone has really used it and found them useful?
Please advice or share your experience.
Thank you.

Since this is a money saving website, you may want to consider this product which works on the same prinicipal as the others you mentioned above:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/decalcifier-37766
You will need to buy a power supply/adaptor to power it.
There is a distinction between magnetic or electronic decalcifiers and water softeners.
The decalcifiers aren't really going to soften your water. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

???? I would want more justification for the thought that it is hard water before installing a water softener.manan.shah.82 wrote: »We live in a hard water for few years now and lately my wife is complaining about hair loss. It could be an issue with the shampoo she uses or it could be low ceilings. Or it could be a health issue. Would you want to be ignoring the last possibility while you install a water softener? You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0
