I am hoping someone can help me, I arranged a policy in 1993 for my son when he was born, that pays out on his 21st birthday, it was roughly £2.50 a week, and the agent came round to our house to collect the premiums.
Does anybody remember what they were called?

Prudential used to have doorstep agents. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0

Check on your bank statement to see where the premiums are being paid as a first step. You will then need to contact the Company if you have moved etc to see what needs to be done for proceeds to be paid next year. Have't you had any statements from them each year advising how much your policy s worth?0

We used to have both Prudential (as huckster says) and Pearl Assurance collect premiums at the door.0
