Hi
I guess the answer to this may well be wait and see but are there any stats about to show how many cases get subsequently overturned where the FOS have found in favour of the complainer ?.
I had a complaint rejected by MBNA in Jan this year and referred the case to the FOS as I felt the decision was unfair. After supplying them with the relevant information I heard back today to say then FOS has found in my favour and that MBNA should put me back in a situation as if I never had the protection premiums
I realise that MBNA may disagree with this and request it go to the adjudicator but is there any stats to say how often where cases are found in favour of the complainer like this its then referred to the adjudicator ?
Incidentally I have been very impressed with the responses from FOS and how I have been kept upto date with what is happening. Also did not expect a response so soon fully expecting to wait 12 - 18 months for any initial decision and not that 3 it has taken so far
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and any responses

No stats but anecdotally, it is not high. I have heard of a number in the past but it tends to technical failings by an adjudicator. i.e. them taking something into account that they shouldnt.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
