JJB/Creation CC Problem.

in Credit cards
I've had my JJB card roughly 4 or 5 years with a 1 month 0% period on purchases, when they went into administration I was sent nothing about my credit card being with them (as It's obviously run behind the scenes by Creation).
Just recently I've been encountering problems with Creation saying that there's now no 1 month period on the card and keep charging me all these different things and barely explaining what the charges are for other than apparent late payments.
I'm on a fairly low income as I'm currently on benefits (ESA) and will be for the foreseeable future. Are there any other credit cards out there that offer a small period of interest free or do most want people with a steady income?
I've never had any credit issues at all, I would preferably stick with Creation if they weren't causing me any problems but during the transition from JJB to Creation credit card they've started giving me problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

stay away from storecards, their rates are always rubbish.
there are many different comparison sites out there which will help you find credit cards with good rates.0 -

Well as I said the store card was absolutely fine until JJB went into administration & now Creation are suddenly giving me problems. I've been to comparison sites but their not much help with what I'm looking for.0 -
Pretty much all credit cards give you up to 51 days interest free providing you pay the bill in full and on time. You really want to ditch the Creation card and look for something more reasonable - try asking your bank for a credit card, for example.
However, given that you're not on a steady income, that will put most lenders off who don't know your spending habits or general cashflow - hence why your bank may be your only safe bet. If they say no, your options are a little slim for the meantime.0 -
i'm not on steady income. I'm a freelancer and a director (at the same time). It hasn't put me off. Just got a company credit card with 8K limit.0

Was there a transition? Usually, in these cases, the credit is provided by a third party and the name on the card doesn't matter.
Anyway, it's possible to get a credit card when you're claiming ESA. Vanquis or Capital One would probably be the easiest options.
Your problem will be that you've (probably) missed payments recently. That will be recorded on your credit files, meaning that it's unlikely anyone will offer you credit for a while.0
