Buying a house that had subsidence

Option 1) you are buying a house from a vendor that didn't tell you about subsidence and god knows what else.
Option 2) your future next door neighbour is a lier who has a very bad relationship with his neighbour.
Neither of these is a good option and will most likely result in hassle later on, walk away now and forget it.0 -

Did OP ask the seller if the house had been subject to subsidence? Has the seller omitted to say this, or has the seller lied during the sale?
Either way, I would not purchase the house.0
