AA breakdown cover

Options
Was paying £69 per annum for 'roadside' and 'take home'. Said I wanted to save money and was looking at other companies for cheaper quotes. Immediately offered 25% discount which I accepted. But will move companies next year.

  • It seems as though no breakdown organisation want to lose customers and will give some hefty discounts to entice you to renew.

Same happened to me a couple of weeks ago, I have the full monty, home start, relay and get you home and it covers me and my partner for both our cars (although AA cover is personal and not car related. The renewal came in at £118 and when I phoned the AA "I'm thinking of leaving the AA" dept they quick as a flash gave a 25% disc, so got all cover for 2 persons for the cost of £93. We have used their service 3 times in the last 18 months and I have nothing but total praise at the way they dealt with me.
