Can't hear callers on Iphone
I cannot hear callers on Iphone 4 unless I put them on speaker. This was an upgrade with o2 via carphonewarehouse. HAve contacted 02 who said it was a hardware issue and were going to repair until I requested a replacement to which the answer was deal with carphonewarehouse... Any ideas what my rights are? This was an issue from day one but I thought the problem was the case and have been so busy it took me some 10 days to check it out.

You have a short timeframe (a few weeks) to reject a faulty item and claim a refund under Sale of Goods Act (or Sale of Goods and Services if contract phone).
So if you want a refund, you need to act quickly, but you have longer if you want repair or replacement.
Your statutory rights relate to the company that sold you the phone.0 -
Oh Dear this only usually happens with iPhone 4 that are over a year old, its the audio ic thats at fault, you will find the Mic still works in voice memo,
good luck getting it sorted0 -

Could also be the dock connectors failed / shorting and the iPhone thinks it's in a docking station so muting the ear speaker, and sending it out via the dock connector.0 -
Could also be ribbon cable 3 inside has slipped out or failed, its a !!!!! to get in and the securing clip isnt fantastic. You can tell if this is the case because the proximity sensor wont work either (ie if you hold it close to your face when on a call then it wont dim the display)0
