Windows movie maker help

im trying to make a little montage of baby photos on movie maker on windows 8. Ive gone to the maker and the add music is in ghost so i cant click it to add music. Im familiar with movie maker on windows xp but never used it on 8 until now. looking for assistance please
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

So you've dragged over/added the photos (JPEGs) already? Just save that (they should run 7 seconds per photo) as a MPEG or whatever (in the menu choose Save Move eg "for high definition display").
Save that project. Close MM then reopen and drag the saved MPEG into it then add your music by dragging it in or how you usally do it.
7 seconds is a longtime for a JPEG so mind you can speed the whole movie up before adding the music.
