Hubby's family are okay - his Mum is a bit odd and says strange things sometimes (breastfeeding is 'unhygenic' apparently ) and when we got engaged she said she probably wouldn't be able to come to the wedding because she would be working.....this was before we had even set a date! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

The typical British bank Holiday has already hit us, it looks dead gloomey here in Leicester already.
IA, good luck with the OFSTEAD Inspection on Tues, what is it for, are you going into Child Minding?
Well my bank holiday didnt go as planned, on Satuarday morning at 5.30am, a lady (must have fell asleep behind the wheel) came off the road, drove into a lamp post, through 3 fence panels, and into my car (which was on the drive way), we were taking it to the scrap yard in a couple off weeks but we have just been offered £1,000 by her insurance company, so a bad situation turned out to be a very happy situation, I currently have a curtesy car untill next tuesday.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

Wow, that's quite a mess she's made there - thank god no-one was hurt. Good result on getting £1k for a car that was about to go to the scrappers though."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Blimey - lucky it was early morning (not so lucky for the milkman though!)
Nice one on getting £1k for the car! :j What you going to do with the windfall?!0 -
Police said she was lucky to still be here, I know we thought £400 max we would get for it, as you know we have took out a loan to pay off debts and get house ins, and pay off council tax, and get a new car and do a bit around the house, so this £1k is going to help get a nice car so we can do other things with the loan money, things seem to have really picked up for us in the last couple of weeks with being accepted for a loan, A&L offering is £440 for the Bank Charges and now the car, fingers crossed our luck has changed, we could do with it after the 3 years we have had.
It is a shame we dont have house insurance else i would of claimed for a new drive way, it is full off broken glass, wood, and her engine dropped so something has leaked onto it, hopefully not harmfull.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

And on the bread front OH decided he would put the breadmake on on Sunday night. We went to pub, he fell asleep on floor in front of the fire when we got back (one too many whiskys) and I went to bed. When he finally woke up and came down to bed (the house is upside down) I made him get up, go upstairs and put the breadmaker on! :rotfl: I wasn't going without my freshly baked loaf in the morning! :rotfl:0

that would really confuse me having things upside down like that, i suppose you get use to it though. I love the smell of freshly baked bread, I had to get a bus this morning out side Asda and i loved it, the smell is heavenly, makes me so hungry,Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

I know exactly what you mean by this, but I still pictured a house LITERALLY upside down (standing on it's chimney lol), and it made me chuckle!Skint_Catt wrote: »the house is upside down
