1 PC - 2 adapters

I have two wireless adapters on my PC - the original and a USB one ...
This has led to 2 IP addresses and (wait for it) 2 MAC addresses !!

Is there any advantage in keeping things as they are ?
Or should I remove the USB adapter ?

Each network card regardless of being wifi will have its own mac address (hopefully unique address).

Some one else here had two too. My take was that of they are on the same or neighbouring channels, they radio wise will interfere with each other and lessen the throughput. Someone else said that they receive greater throughput with two.

do a speed check and see of one is better than the other, and if two are better than one.

Why are you using a USB one if there is an internal one??

Before I replaced the PC (10 months ago) - I used a USB adapter - and just fitted it on to the new PC as a matter of course - not realising that the new PC came with an internal one.
Then when I realised - The position of the PC (up against a thick wall) - implied to me that the signal may be attenuated - so kept the USB one fitted - and when I remove the USB one - the connection appears to deteriorate - so I was just wondering whether 2 could actually be used simultaneously ....

It's probably not worth trying to use two. So decide which one you want to use, and disable/remove the other. :)
