Windows 8 problem

Hi
I have made a serious error when trying to be clever on my new Samsung Computer with Windows 8.
It was a bit slow on start up so decided to look into it. I ran msconfig and clicked on services with the plan to uncheck unwanted services. I clicked uncheck ALL services and now I have nothing. When I start the computer all I get is my start up picture. I can't get into the computer at all so can't even do a system restore. The Windows button on the key pad does nothing either. I am totally stumped. Has anyone got any ideas please?
Thanks Chris

Not sure if this is going to work....
if you have another networked computer, then on the working computer under Run, type services.msc. This will allow you to fiddle with the services on your working computer:). However with a bit of luck on the Action menu there is a "connect to another computer..." put your duff computer name into it0 -
When I start the computer all I get is my start up picture.
If so, then right-click on it.
Then hold the Shift key down and select "Restart".
That should get you into the Startup Options menu; you should be able to select Troubleshoot from there and with any luck you should be able to System Restore from there.0 -
Will it not boot up into Safe mode (press F8 during boot and select the option) ?... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0

Thanks everyone. I have sorted it. After I changed the settings it wouldn't allow me to log on with my pin but when I used the password it worked. Panic over. Thanks once again0

Glad your sorted, for what its worth I find windows 8 slower to start than windows 7,although I have read plenty of experts raving about how fast 8 starts up.0

It sounds like there is something wrong with your Windows 8 install then (or non-comparable hardware) as Windows 8 should be noticeably quicker than 7 to shutdown and power up which I find is true in practice on any of the Windows 8 machines I've used.

Probably to do with the fact the desktop with windows 7 is a Zoostorm, which came with no bloatware whatsoever, the windows 8 Lenovo laptop is as bought, have yet to get round to customising to my preference.0
