Rang the tax credits about a week ago to give the figures on mine and my husbands p60 .I have received the paperwork today saying provisional tax credits for 2007/2008.
Further down it says WHY WE ARE WRITING TO YOU we are reviewing the information you have given us.The amount may change once we have completed our review.
I am sure it did not say all this last year but i cannot remember has anyone else got one of these.

Hiya, I'm in the same situation as you. When my annual review pack came last week, it said on one of the leaflets that you can phone in with your details instead of sending the form off, so I did. I have had in the post this week a provisional award too. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just check that your details are correct on the form and you should be ok - check that they haven't put your figures down as estimates either.. Inland Revenue seem to like wasting paper in my opinion when sending out all this paperwork. I have got a pile of tax credit awards about 3ft high(!) since I started claiming just over two years ago lol!!! You will probably get a proper award sent out in Aug/Sep. I think thats what happened with me last year.
