Internet connection problem

I get an intermittent internet connection problem. Then I click on troubleshooting and a message comes up to tell me it has reset the wireless network adapter. What does this mean? Is the wireless network adapter in my laptop breaking?

Its a Samsung laptop, and my internet is with a NI company called UTV. I did ask Samsung one time but their answer was useless, so I just let the problem run on, but now's time to get to the bottom of it.

So could I go on the Samsung website and download a driver for the laptop? Would the driver be listed as a wireless network adapter driver or something else?

You could and it probably would be the correct official way to do it. Most manufacturers use other peoples wifi cards.

However, I would go into the control panel, system, device manager, network adapter, right click on your network adapter and choose Properties, Driver and write down Driver name, Driver provider, date and version. Then press the Driver Detail button and get Provider and version.

now go to the providers web site and download the driver
