Hi,
I did a factory reset of my Toshiba NB2000 last week, using Toshiba Recovery, all went well, and Tosh working fine.
Switch on this morning, pop up says 153 Windows updates available,.
Jings, I normally only update 3 at a time when there are a few, just incase.
Do I need them all?
Could I just do the latest, this year's?
Is there any quick way?
Thanks, for now.

What version + SP (Service Pack) of Windows do you now have on your computer? You may be able to download and install the latest SP, to avoid installing multiple updates.0

Do you use IE? If not, you won't need the endless "security" (haha!) updates for it. That should cut down some of your downloads."I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0

Hi,
thanks for reply.
Sorry, should've said, it's windows 7 Starter, looked in 'system', no SP information, so that could be problem.
Edit: On Windows Update Centre now, says I should get SP1 if I switch on automatic updates, I'm set for, download but let me choose, so will try that.
Thanks for replies.0 -
remember once you have done those updates, reboot and check for updates again, as the updates could have updates.
Keep doing it until there are no more updates.0
