    Avast anti-virus (sandbox disabled) + Windows Firewall + Sandboxie + Malwarebytes + a little common sense......

    Thanks for all the info guys.

    I ended up going for the Kaspersky 1 year, 3 PC plus Android and Tablet (just in case) from Amazon which was £23, plus I had a few quid left on a gift card so only paid £15 = result!

    Thanks again.... now to look at tablets :)
