Check a.com as prices may change/items may be unavailable etc. or conversely may become available. Do not buy items that are marked as comparing N/A if T has increased its price from that shown (unless the SEL still has that lower price - then DTD!).

Also - don't newspapers for example count towards the 10 on the PP? They are, inevitably, same price everywhere - they appear on the PP comparisons despite, or perhaps because of, comparing N/A (which is neutral effect) - but it seems these items count (perhaps a cheap 10p newspaper if available, each different title one item) as does your bag re-use CC point.

And I wouldn't buy anything else from T! Because it's nearly certain that you'll be overcharged compared to comparing A vs the cheapest competitor of A and getting 10% lower. Thus all items that are same price at T and A should be bought in A for 10% cheaper than T, and not in T (unless there is a really good reason such as store-specific MOCs making it much better).

Only buy in T (vs A) items that are N/A in A and on which T is cheapest of all supermarkets, or items on which A is at least 10% cheaper than all its competitors and on which no competitor of A (in the APG) ever reduces its price to match or beat A's current price.

@ But I'll probably stop, if T ever reduces its price to match A's, as then it would have been cheaper to buy Avs T for 45p minus 10%.

    # Other items baby section are in the 3 for 2 - I'd check msm.co.uk - click on "3 for 2" against the product's price to view the full products, see which ones have no equivalent available in A or where A is >10% cheaper and are not cheaper elsewhere etc. Mix and matching could mean 3 (or more) different items. Double-check on a.com

:) Do bear in mind that in an uncertain world they are therefore doing the right thing by treating any (possibly) "active" stuff -even if it might not really be active. It's just the most sensible move.

The whole thread supports you 100% . I'd say higher but you know there are pedants here!:D

I think they do, wish I'd paid more attention to my Dad's PP results now :(
Ts caught me out this week. I grabbed some flowers and some bits and bobs and the whoopsied flowers showed up as 'flower dept' (or something ) and I had whoopsied bread which showed up as 'bakery dept' and despite having 10 items it didn't generate a PP for me to nose.through (wasn't a targeted shop - I was just being nosey!!)
I assume the manual department entry doesn't count towards the 10 item count :(

I have been reading earlier about T now counting whoopsies in the PP calculations. Never buy anything on which they are cheaper, as you know this will reduce your PP. Also watch out with T for changes in T&Cs which T is prone to making and, as far as I can see, are always made to T's benefit. I won't go into numerous examples I could provide - it would take too long!!

Righto, just the fresh meat now to check for the M list. Otherwise than that, it's complete!!:j:j (Think there's just the B.S. Whole Chicken 1.35kg to be put on the list - £4.00 in A, on the 3 for £10 in M.) M British Chicken Drumsticks & Thighs 950g is in the 3 for £10 in M but no equivalent in A.

Then again my mixes and matches vs M are probably too devious for those that get the prices for the APG!:D
Call the M list finished folks - it's as good as.

As regards other comps I've come across - SP Baked Beans 410g is Avs T as T is 10g more so should compare better. SP Thin Bleach - do not vs M as M is much more expensive than either T or S - T and S both same price as A (29p) so Avs either of those two. M - wait for it - 49p! (According to what I've written anyway.)

    Goodnight/good morning!!:)
